  • Not only do enemies get stronger the further you go from Home, so does the quality of items you can buy in stores. If you want to be able buy the most powerful items that can be bought, put Home in one corner and Geo in the opposite corner.
  • The mana rating of a land is based on the associated AF's Mana value added to those of the adjacent lands. Dropping down a new AF next to an existing land changes the mana of the old land.
  • Mana ratings affect the strength of the enemies found in the land (but not your pets). They also determine which elemental spirits you can catch there; spirits won't appear unless their associated element has a 2- or 3-wedge rating.
  • In order to obtain all the quests, you need to boost Domina's Dryad and Shade levels to 3. The easiest way to fill up Domina's Mana ratings, of course, is to put the Tree of Mana next to it; the Mana Tree carries a 3 rating in every element.
  • Demi-Human pets can only be recruited if the mana values in certain areas is high enough; see the egg chart for details.
