ITEMS TO GET: Namingway Card

   The Black Garuda 1 returns to the Desert Empress, and you switch back to Zidane's team. Walk back to the warp spot that you appeared at and teleport into the actual Desert Empress. Kujya wants to talk to Zidane, so proceed through the door in the upper-left and cross the bridge to Kujya's room. Kujya demands the Gulg Stone.

   Meanwhile, the rest of Zidane's team meets up with Cid's team, and they storm Kujya's room. However, the doors close just as Eiko tries to run through, and Thorn and Zorn kidnap her. Kujya makes its escape; you're then able to make a new party out of any of the eight characters. (Zidane has to lead the party, of course.) Before you leave Kujya's room, search the desk in the lower left for the Namingway Card.

   Return to the room with two teleporters and step into the one on the left. Warp back down to the airship dock. The airship is now gone, and so is the Black Mage that was blocking the passage on the left. Exit into the distance (it's hard to tell that there's a pathway there -- just walk out to the end of the ledge and hold up). The party will converse briefly, and then you're left in control of your chosen four.

But where is the Arctic Circle Candy?

   Hit the switch at the edge of the cliff to unfurl a rope ladder. Climb down it, then wind your way through the tiny gaps in the rocks (they're in the middle of each "ledge"). Once you get down to the lowest level, exit to the left.

   Your party atuomatically boards the boat and chases the Black Garuda to the Sealed Continent, the snowy dragon-shaped landmass in the northwest corner of the map. After a brief discussion on the boat, you're able to make a new party. If you want, you can get back on the boat and leave the Sealed Continent; you don't have to begin the next quest until you want to.
