Yu Suzuki signing event
The morning of November 11, 2000, Yu Suzuki, creator of Shenmue, was signing copies of Shenmue at a San Jose Software Etc. Fans lined up around the store for a chance to briefly meet the legendary game designer and get their memorabilia signed. Sega allowed a gracious three items per customer to be signed, and the line moved quickly. Sega was also handing out unimpressive Dreamcast pens and very impressive Shenmue t-shirts. For our readers not able to make the event, the GIA presents the following photographs:
