Penance Artist: Andrea Hartmann Media: Pencil, Photoshop Artist's Commentary This marks the first time in a couple months that I've drawn fan art that wasn't Vagrant Story. Also the first time I've actually finished a (non-chibi) drawing of my dear Kain, though I've loved the guy for close to ten years now. Ironic, because I intended this to just be a headshot, for use as a livejournal icon, but I just couldn't stop drawing the armor... and then it demanded this background. So here's Kain on the mountain at the end of the game... on a very cold morning. I don't know why I think it's a cold morning, but I'm absolutely certain that it is.
