Uhm... yeah. Last week was awful for just about everyone, wasn't it? However, the new They Might Be Giants album, Mink Car, makes things better. So this update is a couple days late... just as well, really, because Tuesday used to be the ol' SA update day, and I prefer that to Saturday.

   A plea for contributors - please do not send your artwork in BMP format, or PSP format, or in fact any format aside from JPG or GIF without a good reason. Likewise, do not send a file in Mac format but simply slap a JPG or GIF extension on it. There have been many submissions lately that I simply couldn't make my computer recognize because they were not in any format that any program I have would recognize. And as for BMPs, they're insanely large. Have pity on my poor old 28.8 modem.

   Some submissions from the past week have been held over, in light of the violent acts of terrorism last week, due to potentially disturbing content. I think we all just need some nice, happy, fun, innocent stuff now, right? And there's plenty of that in today's update. We'll get back to subverting everyone's minds next week, right?
