There is an explanation behind this, really. See, the FF continuum's Easter Bunny was on his way to deliver eggs, and decided to recruit someone to play the part of "baby chicken", since there are no chickens in the FF continuum. I think. However, the black mages had never heard of Easter, and thus were rather displeased when they woke up and found Bobby Corwen missing... Next time ask, Lagomorph!
It's kind of odd that I'd do secular-themed fan art for the most important holiday in my religion, but uh... crucifixion and resurrection of video game characters would be either blasphemous or laughable. *recalls that infamous scene in Xenogears...*
