Spring Artist: Andrea Hartmann Media: Ink, Photoshop Artist's Commentary I've been wanting to draw my two favorite Beoulves for awhile now, but I've been out of drawing paper. :P After I acquired some, listening to Richard Shindell's song "Spring" inspired me to draw this instead of the more wistful picture I'd intended, thanks to the cheerful Celtic instrumentation. Not entirely sure what they're doing - I'm envisioning Alma going to pick flowers and Zalbag tagging along because he hasn't seen his sister for awhile, between her being in the convent and him fighting battles - but they look awfully happy. This is my first time seriously trying to draw a real background completely in CG, and I think it came out decently... especially the dandelions. On a more disturbing note, with the ponytail hidden, Alma looks eerily like Quatre Raberba Winner. O_o   « Previous Back to gallery Next »
