Sunset Over A Snowy Arctic Plain (TM) Artist: Alex Annis Media: Pen, Photoshop 5.0 Artist's Commentary This picture was one big mess from the very start. I was doodling in my Philosophy class one day (as I do every day, sadly), when I started thinking about my spoof title Metal Gear Legends X and Senor Parish's collection of Kobun. The original sketch was Psycho Mantis and a guard, very similar to the final product. The original image I was going to send in had Tron Bonne atop a large mech of hers wearing Liquid Snake's gear, but due to a horribly grainy scan, I had to edit it. I ended up just saving the Servebots and rearranged their positions in Photoshop. It took waaaay to long. The shadows are all wrong, as usual, and I wasn't really sure what to do with a background, so I went with the "Sunset Over A Snowy Arctic Plain" (TM) feel. On the plus side, I think it turned out really well. I like the way Mantis and Ocelot turned out.   « Previous Back to gallery Next »
