Proving that Contrail can in fact count beyond three, a fourth playable character has joined the Wild Arms 2 cast: Tim Rhymeless, a Zoa Priest. Almost assuredly a magic-user, Tim fights with a staff and a mysterious Force Ability called "Combine." Tim is not the only new face, however, as he's accompanied by Pooka, a wind rat much like Wild Arms 1's Hanpan. Pooka's role in the game is the same as Hanpan's; it flies to out-of-reach chests or switches to investigate them, and also sarcastically comments on the game's events.
