Atlus has released a series of new screen shots from the upcoming Thousand Arms. The company is assuring fans that they are putting forth "our best effort yet" into localization. "Atlus US has assembled an outstanding team of gamers, translators & story editors to bring the RPG enthusiats a game that is destined to become a classic in the genre."

   The screens below depict a variety of scenes in the game, from battles to overhead views to close-up anime shots. With the anime shots, the camera does a slick 360 degree panning and zooming effect transitioning from the polygonal overhead view to an up-close anime sequence complete with dialogue boxes and voice recordings. (Don't mistake it for FMV, however.) We'll have more coverage on Thousand Arms shortly.
