With SaGa Frontier 2 nearing release, some of the artwork from the game has cropped up in Japanese publications. Continuing his role since the very beginning of the SaGa series, Kobayashi Tomomi's sketches are appealingly distinctive. The piece on the left has Gustav, the game's hero, lounging around with his friends, while Sirmal, on the right, is Gustav's mentor and tutor.

   Also revealed is that the story begins when Gustav, his friends, and his mother Sophie are banished from the royal castle. Thanks to our good friend Kamui for the artwork scans.
