While we've posted the Legend of Dragoon promotional movie from the Tokyo Game Show before, it was broken up into chunks and presented with poor audio / video quality. This time around, we've captured the movie ourselves in 320x240 resolution with full stereo sound to show off the fantastic cinematics found in Sony's upcoming fantasy-themed RPG. (Make sure you're using QuickTime 4 to view it.) More importantly, the movie found on Sony's promo disc is of a much higher quality than we've ever seen before -- even compared to the CG in Square's Final Fantasy VIII. While it can only be noticed on an actual television screen (and not in recorded movies, such as the one available below), the promo movie is presented in a screen resolution far higher than the norm for CG sequences, resulting in an extremely crisp and detailed video. While it's possible the higher resolution movie was only produced for the promotional CD, we're hoping that's not the case -- the quality is simply astounding.
