A new Japanese TV commercial shows that PaRappa may not be gone from UmJammer Lammy after all -- he has a prominent role in the commercial, and Katy Kat is in the game as well.

    As for Lami herself, she's seen playing guitar in a few brief snippets of gameplay footage. The game appears to play similar to PaRappa, but Lami and Katy Kat take turns playing, which is probably how the promised two-player mode will be incorporated. Watch the top of the screen during the commercial and you'll see Katy Kat and UmJammer Lammy icons alternating in the green box.
