Square's Dewprism demo on Legend of Mana's demo disc offers a fully playable look at what appears to be one of this year's most promising RPG titles, perhaps even more so than Chrono Cross. The game's action-RPG engine is clearly modeled after Square's Brave Fencer Musashi, with many fans expressing the sentiment that Dewprism feels like Brave Fencer Musashi done right. Control is extremely refined, environments are beautifully laid out and detailed, and the colorful character models seem lifted straight out of Nintendo's Zelda 64 -- Mint, in particular, is a spunky and fearless female hero we've developed an unhealthy affection towards.
We've put together six different movies from the demo -- two with Mint, three with Rue, and a clip of the promo movie which plays at the end of the demo.
