A new trailer from Square shows a lot more FMV--including some interesting scenes that seem to be directly inspired by Chrono Trigger. The most notable is the starting sequence where the ground cracks and splits open to reveal a fiery inferno which expands spherically to consume several nearby domed environments. The party also runs across the familiar walkway from Guardia Castle, and the previously-seen picture of Lucca is shown going up in CG-rendered flames for a split second. The more signs of Chrono Cross' relation to its predecessor emerge, the more interesting the game looks--and it's looking plenty interesting now. 36 still-frame captures of the trailer are also available for bandwith-impaired readers.
