   The reports on Final Fantasy VIII Desktop Accessories, available for now only on Japanese PCs, are in. Most of the disc's contents are inaccessible on English versions of Windows 95/98, but the mail client and all-important network-enabled version of Card Battle (known in the U.S. as Triple Triad) run smoothly on American machines. Since the possibility of an English release is still unknown, gamers interested playing human opponents in the addictive Triple Triad minigame may want to give this one a look. Thanks to J.T.
