It may be just these screens, but The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask seems to be darker than its predecessor. Both the indoor and outdoor scenes are decidedly gloomier, and the storyline -- in which a mysterious black moon is on a collision course for Hyrule -- is a bit than the Ocarina of Time's.
A strong musical theme is also seen throughout these shots. Quite a number of characters have some sort of musical instrument -- and you just can't get much cooler than the Goron DJ.
