Actual media from the Final Fantasy Movie has been rather sparse for the past few months. Thankfully, the latest issue of Cinefex magazine has stepped in, containing an advertisement showcasing Square's sheer skill in CG artistry. Cinefex, a leading, quarterly magazine reporting the motion picture special effects industry, often contains job advertisements for high-tech companies looking to recruit. Square, curiously enough, proclaims itself as a company which conducts "unprecedented creation of full-length CG feature films." Films? Could more be on the way? Given the massive costs required to establish the Honolulu studios, it's certainly not surprising that the company would consider future films as well.

   The person in the near-flawless close-up appears to be the same woman seen in an earlier video clip released on Japanese television. The detail is simply astounding -- the very nature of the movie industry is likely to be questioned as Square's project nears release in 2001.
