Returning home for the Holidays has its advantages. Like... I don't know, seeing my dog again, I guess. Unfortunately, thanks to a bit of a mix-up, me and my email won't be seeing each other for several days. So, if you haven't already guessed, this is just a lame excuse-column written because I'd hate to leave you readers completely high and dry. And, of course, to satiate my own sense of obligation; remember, nothing we do in life is entirely selfless.

At any rate, I'm sure the vast majority of readers are probably playing FFX or practicing their "surprised face" for when they sneak it back into the wrapping paper before Christmas. I'm not so pretentious as to assume people actually read these things on a Sunday.

However, I do believe a topic is in order for tomorrow. It's the Holidays, so I won't task anybody's brains: where gaming is concerned, how would you say this Holiday season stacks up to those in the past? Are you about as excited now as you were when you first got your hands on your SNES or Genesis? Less excited? Blah blah blah? Just let Chris know, as he's filling in for Erin the next few days.

And now, back to FFX for me.
