Sephiroth is undoubtedly one of my favorite video game characters, so of course I would want to try and draw him! ^__^ Sephiroth seemed to me like a very introspective person; at least, before he went mad. -___- He seemed like the type who liked to do a lot of thinking, so I tried to convey a sense of thoughtfulness and quietude about Sephiroth's expression, as if he was just coming out of a pleasant reverie. I'm not too sure I was very successful with that; his expression seems more alert, now that I look at it again. A few minutes after the reverie, perhaps? Also, I tried to do something different with the style I drew it with. My usual drawing style is heavily anime/manga influenced, as one can see in the previous Vincent art. But for this piece, I wanted to take a break from that, and try drawing in a style I had not attempted for quite a long time. I fear I am a little rusty though, as I glance yet again at the drawing and keep noticing small things that could be adjusted...oh well, maybe a second attempt will prove better. Not that I mind practicing drawing Sephiroth! ^___^
