I had done a Zell picture for RPGamer a while back (it's still there and at my website), and while I liked it, it looked a little basic and I didn't feel like I really got him, so to speak. So over a period of about a week, I played with different poses and styles and this one popped out. The difference is amazing; I would easily consider this piece one of my best -- for now. My personal philosophy is that if I don't think the illustration isn't just right, you can bet I'll kill myself making it better. Expect a new Squall picture soon. Anyone who's seen the original picture over at RPGamer knows that one is begging to be redone, and you'll see it here folks!
