Having been trying to develop my skill at comic books for quite some time, and knowing that the very characters who actually gave me a jump-start with my artistic skill were those from Final Fantasy 6, I've really been drawing the characters for quite some time, developing their clothing. I prefer Amano Yoshitaka's character designs over the sprite designs in the game -- for instance, if I were to draw Terra in her human form, she would most certainly have blonde hair over green.
This particular piece was inspired from an older piece of mine depicting morphed Terra -- which, might I add, was rather bad -- and my love of working with common media in uncommon ways. Although I can't say that I'm completely happy with how this turned out, considering there are more than a few mistakes visible even to the untrained eye, I really love this piece in its depiction of Terra in her Esper form.
