A bounty hunting we will go Artist: Brade Media: Pencil, white paper, Photoshop 5.5 Artist's Commentary I suddenly had a strong urge to draw Amarant and Lani from FF9, so I did. Since I don't do many fanarts from video games, I figured I better act on the impulse, and I'm glad I did. I was very loose while drawing this, not being such a perfectionist like I am normally, and I think that helped. These aren't necessarily my favorite characters from the game (that would be Quina), but they are very cool, n'est-ce pas? Since I was enjoying myself, I even added a fairly detailed background to it. My art style is influenced by a mix of US comics and Japanese manga, especially the artists Jim Lee, Ian Churchill, and Katsuhiro Otomo. I don't think my style looks like any of those, but I feel it's best for any artist to develop their own. Anyhoo, check out my website for more stuff by me and several mucho-talented artists.
