Under the Temple Artist: Kenta Wolf Media: Painter 6.0 (primarily airbrush), Photoshop 6.0 Artist's Commentary This piece I created before I finished the game, and never realized it was so emotion-inducing due to its ethereal quality and Tidus' state. I simply drew this wanting that brief glimpse into a moment where Tidus is not excited or agitated, just a quiet second I know he feels but does not show. The scene is where the ice breaks and the rag-tag team fall beneath the Temple. This picture took about seven hours, give or take. I am happy with the detail, colors, and expression on Tidus' face (some aspects were new frontiers and techniques for me - challenges are great).
