Artist's Commentary
A friend once asked me to draw Kain as he was our favorite FF4 character. I finally decided to draw this peice
when on a fan art page for the Final Fantasy series. I was shocked to see how little Fan art there was for Final
Fantasy 4. I have played almost all the Final Fantasy games since FF4 and it still remains one of the best in my
mind. This picture represents Kain when he was still under the control of Golbleze. When he rejoins your party
for the first time he explains to Cecil that he was aware of his actions on some level, even if he wasn't in control.
Here I have drawn him reflecting on his state.
