Artist's Commentary
I know anyone who's been keeping up with my art is probably familiar with
Kain, seeing as he's about all I draw fan art wise... So I threw in Cecil
here, too. ^ ^ To me, the title of this picture was perfect for the
characters. The dragon and the phoenix, ancient Oriental opposites. Kain,
the dragon, striving for the sky and to rise above Cecil, the phoenix, who
has overcome his previous self in a purification by fire.
Well... you get the general idea, I hope, as there is a method to my madness.
