Artist's Commentary
I guess you can all see that I strayed from the original
Ocarina of Time character designs quite a bit here. Zelda wasn't really
intended to look like anyone, but since I gave her red hair (ala Link to the
Past) and a dark dress, she looks kinda like me. Link looks pretty much the
same, just with different clothing. Navi actually looks like a faerie
instead of a ball of light. And Ganondorf... well... he was supposed to
look like a drow (dark elf) with red hair, but he ended up looking like a
bit like Magus. *sigh* Oh well. All-in-all, I'm happy with it. I'm
especially happy I could find a font that would let me type "Power,"
"Wisdom," and "Courage" in runes, so I wouldn't have to do research and
write them manually. ^_^
