Artist's Commentary
The lyrics are in German and written by one of my best friends, Kri. IMHO they fit perfectly to the
storyline of Xenogears and especially Emeralda's fate. The lyrics can be translated as this: 4000 years
of night/ many thoughts and dreams are hidden/ and sleeping under 1000 feet of stone/ always will
they arise one day/ arise and flood our world./ The pain and happiness will renew/ and the sun will rise
again./ A new day is born...
This is not absolutely correct translation, some fine details has been lost (sorry, I'm not a very good
translator).
