Maria and Kanna Artist: Olivia Melton Media: Edding 1300, Photoshop 6.0 Artist's Commentary Inspiration for this picture was from another fanwork by the fanartist(s) of the Japanese site URC, portraying a sleeping Maria. As I find these two characters (my favourites) would do very well as a pair, I decided to portray them in this peaceful way, and hope the effect is sweet. This is one of the first pictures I made using Photoshop, and I am rather satisfied with the results, even though it has turned out a bit too yellow in .jpg format. A friend also pointed out that Maria's... erm... chest is of uneven size, but I say that is conditioned by the way her shirt is draped. I wonder if many other fans have considered Maria and Kanna as a romantic proposition, because I find it very plausible (and have created a considerable amount of fanart in that direction).
