Artist's Commentary
Well, it's spring at last! It's April and the snow is JUST
beginning to melt here in New York... I wanted to practice my coloring
techniques, so I picked Selphie because she's so cheerful (very fitting for
spring) and because I really, really like her dress (which is a bit
inaccurate here, I know.) Anyways, when I got to her hand, I realized "I
can't draw hands... I need to give a Gumby hand that's holding something."
So I drew an Easter basket, since Easter's on it's merry way. Decided to
just cut off the bloomin' feet. So, anyways... it's Selphie. She's so cute.
