Artist's Commentary
Sort of went for an impressionistic style, as you can see with the purple
and blue colors. As the title implies, I wanted to create a 'swirling'
look with the colors. The color blue is the primary color, (Cerulean...
although it's not necessarily cerulean) and I wanted it to seem to be
blending in with the pink and violet colors harmoniously. I hope by
using some of Photoshop's techniques I managed to incorporate a sense of
motion and fluidity in the blue and pink -- as if an army of blue was
celebrating over a "pink parade."
With my poor writing skills, I guess it's nearly impossible to attempt to
stress what I want the 'reader' to see. Regardless, though, I think art
is something that even the most eminent of words cannot explain. (I
assure you some of our inner emotions works the same way)
