Artist's Commentary
This is one of my most recent work of art, that I practically made in one night. It all started out with a
scetch of Relm, and later Gau showed up as well as Gogo. I hadn't planed to color it since I figured
they would ruin the pure look of the characters in black and white. As you can see the characters are
a bit older than they were in the game, and I think I really succeded with getting that special look that
both Gau and Relm had. I'm not quite sure if I would say the same about Gogo. This dream-like art is
about Relm's feelings on the two men that are very important to her, and how she sees them. Gau
who's trying so hard to clutch on to his former lone-wolf self finds himself experiencing tons of never
before felt feelings when talking to Ms Arrowny. Take note that his hair is losing its green shade since
he doesn't travel around the Veldt as much as he used to, where a lot of plants give animals a greener
look. Gogo who wants to open himself up and unveil his mysterious past to the artist is unable to do
so, and I tried to make these feelings seen with the colors and patterns I chose. Overall I'm pretty
satisfied with the pic the somewhat reminds me of the cover to "Grand Finale".
