I submit to you the most enthralling work of mine I have ever made. It's a piece from the most enigmatic game with an idiot for a protagonist, Silent Hill. This was hand-drawn, scanned, and colored using a layer-edit mode in Paint Shop Pro 5. It all started when , to get into the Halloween spirit, I was discussing with my friends about the definition of 'Spooky', and being the rebels we were, we decided not to get out the dictionary and check it out. After many hours of discussion while the Tenchi Muyo OAVs were going on in the background, we all reached an agreement. Spooky, by my definition, is the type of scary that's parentally regulated. There can't be any gore in it and there shouldn't be any horrifying mutilation in it. Good clean "BOO! I SCARED YOU" fun. Like carefully studying a box of Count Chocula or going trick-or-treating without the poisoned Three Musketeers bars. With that in mind, I started on a SPOOOOOKY series of drawings of the most eerie, chilling, not-to-be-played-at-night game I've ever played: Silent Hill. The first? Dahlia Gillespie! (WARNING: SPOILERS AHEAD!) Dahlia Gillespie, as if you didn't know her, is the love of my life. She's a crazy bitch - if I can say that - who tries to take the world over through the small town of Silent Hill. She does some freaky stuff during the game. She has babies for the sole purpose of turning them into demon-flesh, sadistically manipulates our hero for her amusement, and horribly mutilates her daughter for the sole purpose of testing whether she'd be alive afterwards. She's the love of my life, too, which means I don't pay attention to the last three points. OUR LOVE IS ETERNAL, AND NOBODY WILL TAKE IT AWAY FROM US!
