Art Class Artist: Dancing Mad Kefka Media: F pencil, Fine Point Sharpie pen for inking, 32lb Hammermill Ledger paper (the good stuff!), Adobe Photoshop for coloring Artist's Commentary Anyone who's ever been in an art class knows what this is all about: someone comes over to you and says "Hey, that looks REALLY cool!", and everyone else glances over non-chalantly to see what you're doing. Here we have my good friend Syd (Servbot #41) kneeling before his latest painting, holding his paintbrush out to the side as he eyes the finished work, smiling ever so slightly at the attention he receives from Duo (Servbot #40) and Quatre (Servbot #1) [hey, so I like Gundam, so sue me]. It was inspired by my Color and Design class; while laying across the table and ever-so-delicately finishing a painting (aka galling the paper), someone happened by and said "Hey, that looks neat!" And then 5 more people came over. And then my professor. O_o But that aside, I think it came out pretty good; use of simple colors doesn't detract from the focus, no background as not to destroy the original intent of the picture... and hey, they're SERVBOTS! ::happily awaiting the arrival of my Servbot toy from the preorder of MegaMan Legends 2:: There's no way to go wrong with the mighty Kobun as your ally!!! ^_^   « Previous Back to gallery Next »
