Artist's Commentary
Anyone who's ever been in an art class knows what this is all about: someone comes over to you and says "Hey, that looks REALLY cool!", and everyone else glances over non-chalantly to see what you're doing. Here we have my good friend Syd (Servbot #41) kneeling before his latest painting, holding his paintbrush out to the side as he eyes the finished work, smiling ever so slightly at the attention he receives from Duo (Servbot #40) and Quatre (Servbot #1) [hey, so I like Gundam, so sue me]. It was inspired by my Color and Design class; while laying across the table and ever-so-delicately finishing a painting (aka galling the paper), someone happened by and said "Hey, that looks neat!" And then 5 more people came over. And then my professor. O_o But that aside, I think it came out pretty good; use of simple colors doesn't detract from the focus, no background as not to destroy the original intent of the picture... and hey, they're SERVBOTS! ::happily awaiting the arrival of my Servbot toy from the preorder of MegaMan Legends 2:: There's no way to go wrong with the mighty Kobun as your ally!!! ^_^
