Artist's Commentary
Truely the greatest videogame character ever to hit the playstation! Well that's my opinion anyway =P I just wish I could do him justice on paper *sigh*. Anyways, this pic was done using graphite sticks(basically pencils bar wood)but I discoved about half way through this pic that if you save the shavings from when you sharpen them, you can use them to shade in smooth bits, which is exactly what I did for the background. The blue shade was added in photoshop as an afterthought.
