Artist's Commentary
I don't know where I got the idea to draw this picture from. It must have been some commentary I read about Pokémon Yellow. Or perhaps it was my desire to draw a decent picture of Pikachu for once. I guess it must have been both. If I had played the mini-game Pikachu's Beach before I drew this picture, I probably would have included a surfboard. Please don't ask why Pikachu has 3 stripes instead of 2, I don't know why, I probably got pencil happy or something...
