Artist's Commentary
This drawings started out as a test for my new coloured pencils. I began with Ashley, then moved on to add Sydney and the Rood. I am pleased with how it turned out... the pencils were of unusually hard lead for coloured pencils... but this allowed for the hatching that enhanced the high-contrast lighting. The scan is a little darker than the original, but looks good.
