Artist's Commentary
In the Japanese version, he was Ruli (a type of ancient
Asian high quality glass jewel). And in the English version, he is
now Lapis lazuli... My problem of drawing this was to decide on what
stone to have him as... Since Lapis is a kind of marble looking
opaque mineral that does not shine, i decided to have his core be
Ruli...
