Turned to You Artist: Elaine Fair Media: Color pencils, a bit of photoshop, markers Artist's Commentary For some reason, drawing it reminded me of an old song by REM. It's called "You," and there's this beautiful part in it... "My attentions are turned to you." Anyway, that really has little to do with the drawing, but it's bubbling over in my head, you know? I love these two kids, here they are being opposite. I've REALLY been trying lately to get past this whole "portrait-only" thing I've been doing. I want to draw more full-body and more multi-character drawings. So here's a step in a positive direction. And I love Gensui II, I can't wait to play it this summer!
