Noise! It's all about noise! ...Well, not exactly. I was more or less experimenting with filters, and the "add noise" filter just kinda.. worked. I sketched this one first, and had originally planned to ink it-- but it looked too nice to risk messing up with ink, so I scanned it and played around with it in PSP.. and well.. voila. This one was more or less inspired by the BGM from Secret of Mana/Seiken Densetsu 2 entitled "Fond Memories"-- it's the tune they play when Purim (The Girl) learns that Dyluck is alive, and so on. ^.^ A really pretty tune, naturally... So, in this pic, she's basically thinking of Dyluck and hoping for him and so on. (Yes, you can retch now, it's just so sickeningly sweet, right?) Even though I didn't completely care for Purim the first few times I played SoM, she kinda grew on me... and she had cute character designs anyway! Once inspiration strikes again, perhaps I'll punch out a pic for Randi and Popoi too.. Oh yah.. ^.^ The poem was there because it fit the theme and it took up space. There is no true method to my madness, sadly...
