Here is a picture of, well, the things Aerith Gainsborough of FF7 might dream about. The reason I did this picture is because I wanted to shed some light on a part of the character which nobody has explored before. I have a feeling that, deep inside that sugary sweet church-flower-girl is a possessive, jealous hussy. Notice how she also sleeps in a skimpy nightgown. I always felt that Aerith could benefit from a little negative publicity, and this is the first step on my quest to see my vision of her as a realistic person come true. I hope you enjoy it!

The heavy lines and cartoonish nature of this image in no way reflects upon my usual style, since I only rarely embark on chibi-chara assignments and usually use a Sakura .005 inking pen for my work (translation for non-inkers: really-really small tip!) Mostly it's in Crayola markers for the outlining, with a lot of help from Paint Shop Pro Demo V6, Adobe Photoshop 5.5 for the coloring.
