the pencil was better. it really captured relm's back. the way it glistened after she put aloe on it. she just got done feeding the chickens so she's tired. and she's holding onto the canvas because, as you see this piece depicts, there is no ground. i hate my scanner though. it doesn't fully express her squat as the original painting does. not that it was better than the pencil.
