Chris joined the GIA in early 2000 as the new Double Agent. After running the column for over a year, he began to yearn for the simpler life of actually playing games, rather than writing about them all the time. After making his intentions known to the staff, he completed the process of finding a replacement and gracefully retired into writing Vaults and the odd game review. However, much like an old soldier who can't quite give up the fight, Chris stands ready to step back into the DA breach when duty calls. In the meantime he works on completing his Master's degree in computer engineering at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, consorts with a mysterious woman he met during his tenure as DA, and dreams of someday being able to Vault the NES classic, Metroid.
