U2
War

I'm not much of a U2 fan at all. The only reason I own this and Joshua Tree is because Andrew Vestal convinced me to give them a try once, so I went out and got the first two I saw. Neither really convinced me to seek out more of their music, but where Joshua Tree is a quality piece of work that's just not my thing, I'm somewhat embarassed to own this one. It's telling that the only bit of lyric I remember is from "Seconds": "Yes, they're doing the atomic bomb / they want you to sing along." Not much more than didactic, clumsy agitpop.
