Like any red-blooded, self-respecting geek, I adore They Might Be Giants. But my guilty secret is that I didn't really pay much attention to them until about three years ago, when my roommate in high school recommended them to me during a shopping trip. The upshot is that I am one of those fans not hardcore enough to own the debut album and Lincoln; rather, I wussed out and got Then. I might not have much "geek cred," but since Then features the entirety of both the debut album and Lincoln, plus every B-side from every single from those albums, plus lots more rarities and oddities, plus a gallery of cover art, plus liner note commentaries on most of the songs, I don't really feel cheated.
