you'd think an album with entirely lowercase track names wouldn't be anything special, and you'd be right. this is sleater-kinney's not very remarkable debut album. i blame it on the early lineup, which featured neither the current drummer, janet weiss, nor the current guitarist, carrie brownstein. though come to think of this, this is the same lineup as call the doctor, which imo is the best sleater-kinney album. go figure.
