I was all set to really attack this album for being yet another mediocre thing I bought when I didn't know any better, but upon jotting down the track listing and listening to it once again, I find 1) I remember almost all of these songs and 2) I remember them as being really good. Even ones I'm pretty sure I didn't care for at the time have grown on me invisibly in the intervening years. Plus, with the bonus of hearing it all this time later, I even like the overplayed singles again. Side note: Sheryl Crow has got to be one of the most attractive singer-songwriters currently working.
