Classical Thunder Classical Thunder
Owning this set makes me feel uncultured--clearly I don't have the sophistication required to appreciate classical music that doesn't pack a wallop, right? But on the other hand, that's a quality I prefer in almost all my music, not just classical. Anyway, the best disc in this set is the second: every third track is especially powerful, like "Dies irae," "Air et Danse bacchanale," "O fortuna," and "Marche slave." That last is even better than gangsta rap for testing bass systems, since it's, you know, listenable.
