Most remix albums are pretty terrible, to be frank. Occasionally, a certain remix of a single song will be worth hearing, but rarely will it ever replace the original song in my memory. None of the tracks on this album manage that impressive feat, to be sure, but it's also far from worthless. For one thing, Björk herself participated in almost every remix, contributing new vocals to fit the rearranged songs better than the original treatment might have. So while it's not exactly an essential Björk album, it's very much worth having all the same.
