Despite the young age, Vivi is a rather skilled black mage. Not much of his past is known by those he travels with, and he doesn't seem entirely sure of it himself at times... though that may be because he has little confidence in himself, and is prone to wandering around absent-mindedly, bumping into things, and falling down a lot.
